For thirty years we have been serving mortgage and real estate customers in Sacramento and surrounding metropolitan areas. Our staff provides expertise in each of these areas, and in the last few years we have expanded into Property Management. In total, we provide services for the following types of residential real estate activities: Mortgage Loans, Real Estate Sales, and Property Management.
We are able to provide programs for the first time homebuyer, as well as existing homeowners trying to "step up" into a larger home, or retirees desiring to downsize. Coupled with our real estate office, we can handle the entire transaction for you from pre-qualification, loan application, real estate selection, and final loan approval and loan closing. We also offer residential and commercial property management services for the small or midsize investor or real estate professional who would like their properties managed professionally and efficiently.

Parham Shekarlab
Parham Shekarlab is a licensed Broker in California, BRE Number 01168445, NMLS Number 317946. As CEO and Founder, Parham Shekarlab represents the highest of integrity, contagious energy and most importantly, for his many clients, the great ability to deliver the attention to detail needed for each and every real estate and related transaction.
Parham has been involved with all realms of Real Estate in the greater Sacramento region for well over 30 years and has built a stellar client base of 4,000+ customers that sends numerous referrals based on his customer commitment for excellence. He has single handedly built a very successful career representing sellers, buyers, investors and banks in the commercial and residential markets. Parham has managed retail and business banking divisions of two of the largest national banks in the United States and more importantly, held positions of Senior Vice President.
Parham is a family man with a strong devotion to his beautiful wife and two wonderful children. Parham was born in Iran and raised in Israel but arrived in the United States many years ago. His decades of experience in the residential and commercial mortgage lending complements his robust real estate experience that includes commercial and residential property management. Parham's (his friends call him Avi) solid experience and foresight to proactively address the details before challenges arrive, allows his many clients to fully trust Terra Firma Group, Inc at every phase of the transaction. He leads a team of professionals with full integrity, passion and in his very own compassionate way.
Stephen Breden
Stephen Breden is a licensed Broker in California, BRE Number 01034059, NMLS Number 295920, and is licensed in California and Texas. He founded Terra Firma as a Sole Proprietor in 1991, and it carried over into Terra Firma Group Inc a few years later with Parham.
He has been an active Originator since 1989, and is presently a Consultant and Trainer with mortgage loan origination system software. A frequent speaker and trainer to mortgage companies across the country, he was a Contributing Editor to Mortgage Originator Magazine from 2001-2009. His expertise includes combining experience in both the technology and business sides of a successful mortgage operation. Stephen has a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University.
Vida Ahmadi
Vida Ahmadi is a licensed Real Estate Agent in California, BRE Number 01453239. With over a decade of experience in the Sacramento Real Estate market, Vida brings expertise and genuine care for her clients to help them achieve their real estate goals.

Barry Demant
Barry Demant is a licensed Real Estate Agent in California, BRE Number 01973583. As Executive Vice President, Barry brings a unique New York-meets-California mindset to the Sacramento County area real estate market. He absolutely enjoys helping people solving business needs with unique tailored solutions that work for each and every individual.
Barry’s closely knit family upbringing as well as professional class-attended sales training are responsible for the discipline, attention to detail and follow-through he brings to all of his work. Born in New York, and trained as a consultative certified salesperson, he brings many years of successful sales and sales management to his role at Terra Firma Group as Executive Vice President of Sales.
Moving to California many years ago, Barry earned his State of California Bureau Real Estate License as well as his postgraduate work earning his M.B.A. in General Business Management while attending Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
Barry is working very closely with his mentor and Broker, Parham (Avi) Shekarlab, the co-founder and CEO of Terra Firma Group Inc. in Orangevale.
Paul Spector
As VP Chief Marketing Strategist, Paul Spector leads Terra Firma Group's marketing and product management efforts. He brings a strong track record of success in applying his leading edge marketing to (among many others): Sun Microsystems, Mattel, Helene Curtis, Vienna Beef, Good Humor, Level 3 Communications, and Good Feet.
Paul founded The Spector Agency, a full-service ad/marketing firm, in 1986. A veteran of the Chicago and NYC ad/marketing communities, he was part-owner of an 85-person/two-office agency, now part of multinational Euro RCSG. There he oversaw the Marketing Planning and New Business/Product Development departments. Paul has also served as VP Marketing in both an early web development firm and an international liquor products company.
Paul brings over 30 years of advertising and strategic marketing management experience to all assignments. Over the course of his career, he has literally worked in most every conceivable business category and every imaginable medium. Paul provides a comprehensive range of marketing communications services and his hallmark is an unyielding commitment to finding creative and cost-sensitive solutions for promoting growth. Paul holds an MBA in Management from Michigan State University - The Eli Broad College of Business. He often guest lectures on critical role of marketing strategy as it relates to advertising planning.
